About The Role

Our Engineering and Technology Division has a new opportunity for an ambitious Engineering Graduate with a good grounding in the Automotive domain and a passion for research. The appointed individual will support research and consultancy projects in the areas of Vehicle and Occupant Safety with increasing focus towards Automated Driving Systems Technology and other related in-vehicle technology such as Telematics devices and Active & Passive Safety.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

With involvement across all aspects of research and consultancy for the Safety and Technology Group the key responsibilities of the role will be as follows:

  • Involvement with stakeholder consultations
  • Discussing requirements with clients and providing estimates for project work.
  • Conducting literature searches.
  • Report Writing

Skills & Experience

We're seeking applications from Graduate Engineers with a good grounding in vehicle technology gained from within the Automotive industry - preferably from within an OEM or Tier 1 Supplier.

Other key skills should include:

  • A degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electronic Engineering
  • Awareness of the regulatory framework for vehicle and occupant safety systems
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Well-developed team working skills with the ability to work independently when required.

Qualifications

Interested applicants must have a degree in Automotive, Mechanical or Electronic Engineering. A PhD or MSc level qualification would be highly desirable.

Communication Requirements

Eligible candidates must be able to demonstrate fluency in both verbal and written English, as the role demands a high level of communication with clients and the output of detailed written reports.
