The Role
- Performing minor vehicle repairs.
- Attending breakdowns when required
- Working in state-of-the-art facilities.
- Ensuring smooth running of all jobs carried out to the company standard.
- Quality checking work, ensuring "work in progress" deadlines are met and carried out in a cost-effective manner.
- Adhering to the company Health & Safety Regulations to prevent accidents in the workplace.
- Vehicle inspections- general servicing.
- Pre-planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, MOT preparation and presentation, correction of running defects.
The Person
- In order to qualify for these exciting roles, you must have the following skills and experience;
- Full industry recognised qualifications (City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification).
- Relevant industry experience is essential. This could have been gained with one of more of the following technical areas; Vehicle maintenance - motorcars, HGV's, Yellow Goods, PCV's, Armed Forces vehicles - diesel engine repair etc.
- Car license and willing to gain a PCV license.
- Possess own tools, though you will be supported with a tremendous workshop resource.
