Locum Social Worker - Fostering and Adoption
Stoke-on-Trent City Council are currently working with Charles Hunter Associates in their search for Locum Qualified Social Workers to work a 3-month rolling contract in the Fostering and Adoption team based in Swann House.
Are you a Qualified Social Worker with your own vehicle and previous experience of Fostering work? Are you looking for a new opportunity or a change in council? If yes, then this is the role for you!

Job Responsibilities:
* Providing a variety of practical and emotional support to foster carers as necessary
* Reviewing fostering approvals annually making sure that high care standards are maintained
* Ensuring foster carers have access to appropriate training and professional development opportunities
* Work innovatively and flexibly to support foster carers in meeting the diverse needs of the children they care for.
Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification and a minimum of two years post qualified experience
* HCPC registration
* Clear Enhanced DBS
Location: Stoke-on-Trent (ST4 4SY)
Rate: GBP27p/h
