Hays Credit Control are currently working with a leading construction services business based in Derbyshire.

Your new company You will be working for one of the leading construction materials groups in the UK. The company who is based in the East Midlands has been in operation for over 10 years supplying some of the countries biggest companies. They have fantastic new offices on site and you have the opportunity to be part of this highly ambitious finance team. Your new role: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES &ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Cash collection
• Management of sales ledger accounts
• Recording of all communications using a bespoke collections system
• Weekly collections forecasting
• Risk analysis
• Regular liaison with sales team
• Problem solving
• Complex reconciliations
• Working towards and understanding given targets
• Monitoring of overtrading
• Management of credit limits
• Query logging
• Banking

What you will need to succeed:

• Must be able to demonstrate a high level of written and numerical literacy
• Must have good negotiation skills, and have the ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
• Must be able to clearly communicate financial matters
• CICM qualifications preferred, but not essential for the right applicant.
