Financial Administrator

Our client is currently seeking a Finance Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis. This role presents a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Administrator to join a team developing their skills in this busy role. 

The Role: This will be a varied Finance Administrator role, responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

  • Oversee and process invoices for payment of work, goods or services.
  • To prepare and assemble statistical information
  • To resolve queries from suppliers, sub-contractors and company staff relating to purchase orders, invoices, HMRC or payments.
  • Provide general financial administrative support that will enable the delivery of an excellent customer service focussed payroll service, including the creation of basic correspondence.
  • Assist with handling the Petty cash account, including the safe keeping of cash and accounts. 
  • To proactively develop and maintain IT skills needed to work effectively and efficiently. 

Candidate Specification: For this position we ae seeking applications from candidates with;

  • Studying towards AAT or relevant experience in a similar role
  • Good administration skills
  • Previous experience of working in and administrative/financial office environment
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, has organisational skills and demonstrates the ability to prioritise.
