Network Healthcare is currently recruiting for a Cook to be based within a private Nursery in Slough. The Nursery is large and accommodates 85 children. This is a permanent role and the candidate would be required to work Monday-Friday, 9.30am-5pm. Due to this being a private Nursery, they are open all year round and do not close for school holidays.
The duties will include producing tasty, basic meals and snacks for children aged 0-5 years old ensuring that dietary requirements and religious beliefs are taken into account and met. A good understanding of food hygiene is relevant to this post although a formal qualification in catering is not required. Previous experience working in a kitchen is essential.
In return, our client is able to offer a salary of GBP16,000-GBP17,000 per annum dependant on experience, 20 days annual leave + 8 days Bank Holiday with the option to get an additional 4, pension scheme, supportive management scheme, training opportunities
