Newman University is seeking to appoint a Library Service Support Assistant to join our busy Library team.
Responsible to the Library Service Support Manager, Library Service Support Assistants work behind the scenes on the day-to-day running of the Library, undertaking a range of administrative activities to support the access and use of library resources by students and staff. Initially, the main responsibilities of this post will be circulation support (focussing on borrower communications, debtor management, income reconciliation and reporting and stock management) and also statistical support (collating and recording library statistics).
This post also provides cover for the areas of acquisitions and document supply. Applicants should have experience of working in an administrative role, together with the ability to work methodically and accurately, with meticulous attention to detail.
