Associate Lecturer– MOT Training

Hours: Variable

Salary: £25.01 per hour, plus excellent benefits

Location: Exeter College Technology Centre

Variable hours vacancies are available in the following disciplines:

  • Light Vehicle MOT Tester/Manager Trainer

We give students the opportunity to learn a range of practical skills supported by in-depth, under pinning knowledge of the subject. This method ensures that the skills developed meet the needs of employers and allow for progression to industry related training.

We have a large number of employers who work with the college with regards to Light Vehicle and Heavy Vehicle disciplines; this has led to a need to grow our offer to industry training, in particular MOT Tester and Management.

The faculty runs one of the largest provisions for MOT training needs in the South West and holds in excess of 30 MOT related training courses per academic year.

The offer to industry grows year on year and the faculty now have a number of new automotive dealerships who are engaging with training, spanning from Cornwall and Dorset, to Somerset, Gloucester and Kent.

Whilst ideal candidates will have a teaching qualification, it is your industry skills and experience we rely on most. Experience working with DVSA training in the past would be beneficial.

Please note, the College is shut over the Christmas period from Friday 21st December 2018 until Monday 7th January 2019.
