Location: Surrey or West Sussex

Our Client; a truly global leader in the manufacture of Specialist Vehicles and Survivability systems are experiencing enormous growth. It is for this reason that we have been tasked with finding an experienced Quality Systems Co-ordinator on a permanent basis. On offer to the successful candidate will be a negotiable basic salary, depending on experience, but up to GBP30Kpa, together with a comprehensive benefits package, inclusive of contributory pension scheme, private health care and life assurance policies.
The Quality System Co-ordinator reports to the Quality, Health & Safety & Environmental Manager and will be responsible for all aspects of the mapping and auditing of the business' work processes in accordance with ISO9001 protocols. You will also work in support of the business transition to an AQAP compliant quality process to meet the growing quality assurance requirements of products being delivered to their military customers.
As an assistant to the QHSE Manager, you will also have a significant part to play in co-ordinating and overseeing the internal quality audits to ensure that all internal co-ordination, planning, scheduling, project execution and relevant activities are being carried out in line with the company Quality Management System. You will additionally ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and methodologies in the delivery of projects.
Qualifications and Experience ideally required:
* -Should ideally have a relevant qualification in a Quality Engineering discipline, although lesser qualifications, but plenty of relevant experience, will also be considered.
* -An understanding of Quality Systems and processes such as ISO9001, AQAP, PPAP, FMEA Control plans are needed.
* -You will ideally be of an Aerospace, Automotive and/or Defence background, although other precision manufacturing backgrounds would be considered.
* -You should ideally have a Mechanical Engineering background and qualification, although again relevant experience will be considered.
* -You will need experience of dealing with Senior and sometimes challenging individuals.
* -Understanding of system integration and configuration management needed.
* -Possess drive, energy and enthusiasm to motivate and lead.
* -Risk and opportunity management.
* -Subcontract and customer management.
* -Recent experience of project management.
* -The flexibility to travel within the UK.
* -Experience of lean manufacturing and 5Y analysis.
