CNC Technician - Nights, Circa GBP12.65 per hour + shift allowance - Bradford
CNC Technician / CNC Machinist / CNC Operative required to join manufacturer based in Bradford.
Package
Circa GBP12.65 per hour (38 hours per week) + Night shift allowance (1.333 x basic)
28 days holiday / rising to 33 days by 1 day per year.
Pension scheme
Role
Programme, set-up, adjust and operate Fanuc controlled CNC machines in order to perform precision turning & milling operations
Read engineering drawings and understand tolerances
Work to set timescales and deadline
Machine parts to specifications using manual machine tools such as Bridgeport milling machines and various lathes
Factory based in Bradford
Requirements
Previous experience as a CNC Technician / CNC Machinist / CNC Operative or similar
Formal mechanical and manufacturing engineering qualification (or equivalent) or time-served apprenticeship would beneficial
Experience of programming using CADCAM software would be advantageous
Previous experience of operating Nakamura, Bridgeport and Citizen machines would be advantageous
Knowledge of Fanuc
Ability to read complex technical / engineering drawings
Commutable to Bradford
