Head of Finance/Finance Director

Our client are looking for an Interim Finance Director to join the team on an initial 3-6 month contract. Reporting into the Director of Procurement and Finance, you will manage and ensure that the primary objectives of the finance department are met. You will be part of a team that is responsible for business planning, management accounting, systems accounting and all other matters relating to the financial stability of the business.

Key duties will include but are not limited to:

• Strategic Financial Planning
• Spending Review
• Allocating resource through business planning
• Production or quarterly and Annual Accounts
• Ensuring the payment of suppliers
• Stakeholder engagement
• Strategic reviews of the finance function
• Manage a finance team

To be considered for this role, you must currently be experienced at a Head of/FD level and you must have experience of accountancy (at both strategic and operational levels). You must be a CCAB or CIMA qualified accountant with extensive experience of working at senior management level in finance. Experience in business continuity in finance would be an advantage. Any experience in Public Sector would be an advantage.
