Newly created role for an Acoustic Engineer to join a high-end audio manufacturer and get involved with system design, prototyping and verification activity for specialist loudspeakers and other audio products. Perfect role for somebody just finishing an acoustics or music technology degree.

You'll be joining a friendly R&D team, where you will be working alongside hardware, software and DSP engineers to help them develop new audio products, by designing and prototyping electro-acoustic and signal processing systems. You'll also be carrying out a lot of modelling, measuring and acoustic simulation, all in the name of developing the best loudspeakers possible.

The team are looking for someone with a degree in acoustics, electronic engineering, physics, mathematics or computer science (or related area), and knowledge in one or more of the following:

-Acoustics
-Electro-acoustics
-Psychoacoustics
-Audio signal processing

You'll jump to the top of my list if you also have experience in ..

-MATLAB
-LspCAD
-Audio measurement systems (Prism dScope, Audio Precision, Soundcheck)
-Acoustic simulation using COMSOL (lumped element, finite element method, boundary element method)
-Loudspeaker design
-Automotive acoustics
