Electrical Design engineer | Oxford | OTE GBP33,000 per annum
My Client is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Oxford. You would be part of a team that designs special purpose machinery that exports worldwide.

Salary Package: Starting from GBP30,000 + GBP 3,000 bonus (OTE GBP33,000 after probation period) based on company performance
Benefits: Company Health Insurance scheme following probation period. Opportunity to follow the IET Chartered Engineering CPD scheme to gain fully Chartered Engineer status.
Holiday: 20 days per year plus bank holidays, rising to 22 after 3 years in continuous employment and 23 days after 5 years in continuous employment, plus public holidays

Reporting to: Design Manager
My Client is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Oxford. You would be part of a team that designs special purpose machinery that exports worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Create electrical schematics and designs within AutoCAD Electrical including layout diagrams, terminal and wiring plans to EU Standards.
- Specify electrical components and control gear for industrial automation systems.
- Work with the Design and Applications Engineering engineers to provide drawings, specifications and deliver projects on time.
- Help as required for the electrical fitting, wiring of panels and assembly of machine builds.
- Carry out electrical testing procedures on new machine builds.
- Supporting electrical problem solving during manufacturing build process.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years industry experience.
- Understanding of electrical control gear and industrial automation.
- Experience designing and creating electrical panel layouts.
- Well organised, ability to work to deadlines and a high attention to detail.
- Experience using AutoCAD Electrical
- Educated to degree level preferably in Electrical Engineering or related fields (2.1 or above)
- Knowledge of PLC and controls.
- Clean and full UK driving licence.
