Newcastle University is seeking an ambitious and motivated individual to work as part of a team within a progressive business of 300 autumn and spring block calving cows at Nafferton Farm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to assist in developing the herd as a first class commercial operation which provides a platform for teaching and research.
Duties will include milking, calf rearing and stock work. You will have good livestock skills and some experience but to the right candidate a training and development programme will be offered.
This is a full-time, open ended position. Accommodation is available if required. Salary GBPcompetitive dependant on experience.
