Receptionist
Reception is the heart of Bedruthan and the hub of all hubs here at the hotel. Absolutely no day is like another! A haven of calm during the quieter months, it turns into a fast-paced place to work during the busy periods - easily seeing more than 300 faces during a peak day.
It’s a one-stop-shop for guests to check in and out, find information, help and advice.
But we’re here for all sorts of other things too; helping colleagues with queries, looking after lost children and offering the occasional doggy day care service.
We are looking for an adaptable, friendly person who has a thorough understanding of a reception and can deliver exceptional hospitality with an impressive eye for detail. Excellent standard of computer literacy, numeracy, spoken and written English are essential.
Key responsibilities for this Receptionist role include:
• greeting and hosting all guests and visitors
• accurate use of a variety of internal booking systems
• daily banking, floats and petty cash management
• hotel tours
• effective communication to other hotel departments
• guest data protection
We offer:
£8.10 per hour / £8.50 after probation
Permanent contract for 40 hours per week including weekends and evenings
28 days holiday (29 after 1 year)
Free meals whilst on duty
Free use of tennis court and swimming pool
Access to gym
