We are looking for an experienced talented Sous chef with a passion for food and an interest in developing your career. We are working with one of our prestigious clients who own a stunning hotel on the Roseland peninsula. This is a chance to work with an excellent head chef who believes in investing his staff.

We are looking for a confident Sous chef with previous experience within a similar role producing Michelin, 4 Rosette standard cuisine to help assist the head chef within the kitchen. The food produced by the kitchen is an innovative menu of the best seasonal and local produce.

As Sous chef you would be required to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen and all operations within in absence of the head chef. You will also be in charge with ensuring the training and support is there for the lower ranking chefs and they are keeping up with the standards set both in the ways of health and hygiene and quality.

Key Responsibilities will include…

  • Able to cope with working in a high-pressure environment

  • Will ideally have a Michelin, 3 or 4 Rosette background

  • Exceptional communication skills and be able to show authority

  • Cooking to a consistently high level

  • Genuine love of food and a good imagination and flair for menu creation

  • Helping and supporting all members of the kitchen team

  • Following Food Safety and Health & Safety guidelines and procedures

In return for your services you will receive a great salary of up to £35,000 plus a share in tips. The establishment can offer live in accommodation.
