Solidworks Draughtsperson - MUST have Solidworks
Our Client is looking for an SolidWorks Design Draughtsman with Construction/manufacturing/joinery experience. You MUST have Solidworks experience and not just AutoCAD experience as this is used on a day to day basis.
This is a great position and open to any level from a graduate to an high level draughtsperson - personality and 'fit' within the Company is just as important as skills.
Due to the location of the company you also need to be a car owner as there is no public transport accessibility.
Job Description
To provide layouts, general arrangements and detailed technical drawings on AutoCAD & SolidWorks in accordance with clients project specifications.
Key Responsibilities: We are looking for a hardworking, experienced, efficient and practical individual to join the existing team. The role holder will be reporting directly into the Company Director and will be based here in the main office.
1. Liaise with Directors and Contracts managers to obtain clear specifications
2. Support the contract managers with necessary drawings from concept to handover.
3. Create detailed CAD/Solidworks drawings for production
4. Create detailed CAD/Solidworks drawing for on-site work
5. Liaise with Manufacturing Manager to understand needs
6. Solve fabrication problems
7. Continuously look for and suggest ways to improve the process
8. Other duties requested by management in support of the Team.
This is a busy role, in a factory environment, where multi-tasking and thinking on your feet will be critical. Strong attention to detail and a tenacious approach to follow up are required for success in this role.
Person Specification: Good CAD and Solidworks experience within a working environment. Knowledge and experience of the construction/joinery business also essential. Individual may be required to liaise and visit clients as required.
Hours of work: 8am-5pm (Please note that with prior agreement there can be some flexibility in set core hours.)
Salary Range: Depending on experience and seniority - open to all range of experience
