Job Title: CNC Setters / Programmers (Turning and Milling roles) - Night Shift Options

Location: Dorking, Surrey

Salary: £25,000 - £37,000 per annum

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, Night Shift Options

The Company is a well-established manufacturer and renowned experts in machining, bonding and finishing engineering grade acrylic. They supply global, blue-chip customers in industries including life sciences, medical devices and industrial applications with solutions including fluidic manifolds and optical components.

The Role:

The Company are looking for both a skilled CNC Turner and CNC Miller. These are likely to be two separate roles but candidates with a mix of these skills will be highly regarded. The roles are to set and operate a number of their CNC machines. The operators need to be able to work on their own but also play a team role to ensure that components are manufactured to the drawing and within tolerance. The operator must also be able to multitask across a number of machines and be proactive to ensure components meet quality requirements. The company is progressing with a Lean manufacturing programme and this role would require the operator to assist in implementing best practise skills.

• Hass Lathe

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years CNC machining experience
• Apprenticeship or technical qualification such as an HNC/HND or City & Guilds
• Full knowledge of Fanuc and Siemens controls
• Set up fixtures, tooling and programmes
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings
