Extra Care and Supported Housing Officer BLUE75284

Manchester

Salary £17,937.00 per annum

Our client is a forward-thinking social organisation that positively impacts communities. They're also proud to create opportunities that make things happen - for people, families, homes and communities. They're a busy team with lots to do. They can only achieve this if they've got the right resources so they look for people and partners with as much enthusiasm and passion as they have for making things happen.

They currently have an opportunity available for an Extra Care and Supported Housing Officer to join them to provide a full and effective administrative function to the Extra Care and Supported Housing Teams.

Supporting the Extra Care and Supported Housing teams in the voids and lettings process, you will provide comprehensive reports of our current position and ensure systems are up to date and that offices, community spaces and schemes are welcoming and accessible.

Ensuring that offices and schemes are sufficiently stocked and to manage and support the ordering process, you must provide full administrative support within the service as required, including the receipt and distribution of both incoming and outgoing mail, and assist with the development and delivery of events and activities and the presentation of dementia related activities.

With experience of working within a customer focussed and dynamic environment, you must demonstrate a strong customer focus and have good verbal and written communication skills.  Able to work to objectives both alone and as part of a team, you should have strong IT and general administration skills and be capable of building productive relationships.  Any experience of working in social housing or the Care industry would be beneficial but is not essential.

As well as a competitive salary and a generous holiday entitlement, we offer a range of benefits for a rewarding career including a health cash plan, pension scheme, child care vouchers and staff discount club membership. They’ll also make sure you get the training and benefits you deserve.

They are currently under represented by Ethnic Minorities, LGBT Groups and people with a Disability. They would particularly welcome applications from these groups, however any appointment would be made on merit.

Please note that the successful candidate must have access to a vehicle to use this for work throughout the working week.
