Edustaff are inviting applications for the role of Drama Teacher at a welcoming, mixed, comprehensive school in the Brentwood district. This Drama Teacher role would equally suit a NQT just starting out their teaching career or an experienced Drama Teacher who feels the time is right to take on a new and exciting role.

The successful Drama Teacher will be someone who believes that all students can achieve highly and feels well suited to teach learners who are ambitious and determined. Current Trainee Drama Teachers who will be NQTs from September 2019 are encouraged to apply as the school have a good track record of supporting NQTs through their induction years. Having said that, experienced Drama Teachers who are highly motivated and can add value to a popular Performing Arts Faculty are also strongly encouraged to apply.

As the newest member of the school's Performing Arts Faculty, you will get the chance to teach across KS3, KS4 and KS5. Strong subject knowledge or previous experience teaching A-Level Drama would be advantageous although not essential. The school look for flexibility, innovation and dedication in the teachers they employ. Teachers who can promote enjoyment and participation in the subject will be looked upon favourably for this role. Drama Teachers who can effectively use their subject area to instil confidence and self-esteem in their pupils will be the perfect fit for this Drama Teacher role.
