Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides mental health and community services to almost a million people across Berkshire. The Trust employs over 4000 people operating out of over 100 sites - working closely with partner organisations.

We are members of two of the first 10 Integrated Care Systems in England - which provides a great opportunity for us to work with others on the delivery of high quality services to our local population, through effective and innovative use of our collective resources.

We are a high performing Trust with an overall Care Quality Commission rating of Good - and a rating of "outstanding" following our "well led" inspection this year. Our current Strategic Plan identifies clearly the difference we aim to make by 2021 - with patients and service users, with our partner organisations and within our whole organisation. We have set ourselves a number of deliberately stretching targets in the form of our Vision Metrics and True North Goals to enable us to achieve our vision - to be recognised as the leading community and mental health service provider by our staff, patients and stakeholders.

We are seeking an experienced individual to lead the strategic planning processes for the Trust, and our contribution to system plans, in conjunction with our business development function and project management office. You will have a successful track record of leading and supporting change management and service improvement projects which deliver improved organisational performance, gained within a healthcare environment of comparable scale and complexity. Strategic in approach, and values driven, with the ability to engage effectively with a breadth of internal and external stakeholders to effect consensual change, this is a role for someone who would relish the opportunity to make a contribution to our work and to ensuring that we provide the care and support that best meets the needs of our patients.
