Production Setter
Pertemps Managed Solutions are currently looking to recruit a Production Setter to work for a leading manufacturer for tooling and lightweight component solutions in Portsmouth. This is a contract role working 40 h/p for 6 months with a high likelihood to extend.

Their clients include some of the most prestigious names in the automotive, F1, aerospace, and defence sectors.
Job Role -
• As a Production Setter, you will be conducting tool trials and troubleshooting regularly to ensure performance remain operational.
• Cover maintenance work such as cleaning and oiling machine and ability to resolve basic faults in a logical manner.
• Monitor machine and equipment use, output and efficiencies, take corrective actions as necessary and recommend improvements to ensure department meet targets.
• As a Production Setter your role is to perform and document production tool changes and tool trials as requested and liaising with project managers and customers when necessary.
Required Skills and Experience -
• Ideally experienced in the use of a shop-floor MRP booking system and QMS.
• Ability to record all information to the correct level of detail on the relevant production paperwork.
• Must have mould shop setting experience.
• Ideally should have basic Mould Setting PTIC (polymer training), NVQ 2 or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years within Injection Mould environment experience.
