Why is our Revenue Assurance Senior Business Analyst the next step for you?
This is an exciting role helping to establish a new function for Revenue Assurance, a dedicated group function that will centralise efforts to stop what is commonly known as 'revenue leakage', at WorldPay. A group-wide function that has sight of all revenue and cost related processes throughout the company, working towards joined-up revenue strategy and execution, Worldpay being a very complexed business given the Acquisition of companies, amalgamation of systems, moving sites - some of those jigsaw pieces don't quite fit together and revenue is lost through the cracks. The Revenue Assurance function will help find those cracks, we're looking for a results-oriented analyst to join a new team.
In addition, they will be responsible to developing an enduring toolset to monitor, report and mitigate against margin leakage.

How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
You'll report into the VP Revenue Assurance and have up to 3 direct reports. This role is an opportunity to help build a standardised and integrated global centre of excellence for analysis, reporting and KPIs across revenue assurance and financial operations. Identify opportunities to improve revenue and reduce cost and working capital requirements. The right candidate will help build and automate assurance based KPIs and controls to capture and maintain the full incremental cost and revenue picture of customers. This role requires strong analytical acumen. You will utilise a hypothesis driven problem solving approach to design, construct, and rapidly test/irate exploratory data-mining analyses to reveal insights across the portfolio.
This will include performing data-mining and data exploration using a logical approach to tackle complexity and root cause analysis. As well as detect and address errors impacting customer charging, invoicing, and payments. A major part of the role will be to deliver standardized management reporting accurately and to schedule, highlighting potential inefficiencies and opportunities.

What will make you the ideal candidate?
You'll need to be passionate about data and relish the opportunity to define and capture business requirements to drive insight, analysis, and that will inform data modelling decisions.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong business acumen with previous exposure to finance & data, an agile and solution based team player, who can interpret data, advise and solve. SQL skills are essential however and you must be very comfortable with querying, extracting and transforming data sets.
What would set you apart is self-efficiency, experience in business wide exposure and being comfortable in a fast changing environment.
It will be your responsibility to develop in-depth understanding of underlying data, data structures, and business and commercial uses of data.
Proficiency with sophisticated analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R, Python, Alteryx, SQL, HiveQL) and visualization platforms (PowerBI, Webfocus, Tableau Web Edit) is essential.
