About the Role
This exciting role will both challenge and reward the successful candidate.The fast fit manager will be responsible for overseeing operations at the Tyre Outlet based in L36 which was where. The Tyre Outlet is committed to delivering first class customer experience carrying out services such as fitting tyres, MOT testing and general mechanics.
The Depot Manager's responsibilities will include:
- Getting involved with the day-to-day running of the outlet.
- Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining relationships with the Tyre Outlet client base.
- Recruitment of warehouse staff.
- Training and development of the team.
- Ensuring systems and procedures are enforced and followed on site.
- Managing logistics, and time management of customers.
- Ensuring the highest levels of customer service are maintained at all times.
- Working closely with the stock manager to ensure stock integrity policies are fully managed on site.
- Ensuring good house-keeping standards within the Outlet.
- Enforcing on-site H&S requirements and policy.
- Overseeing outlet security.
This is not a role for the faint hearted it will involve setting and maintaining exceptionally high standards and delivering our service promise 100% of the time.It will involve flexible working hours and dedication to really set and maintain a high standard of performance.
CANDIDATE:
- Strong mechanical experience, preferably with a speciality in tyres
- Exceptional management and leadership skills and experience
- Clear and positive communication skills across all levels of management, and excellent face-to-face and telephone communication
- Logistical planning and control experience
- A proven track record in mechanics management
- A flexible and forward thinking approach
- The ability to be a hands on leader where required - with the ability to both oversee and manage the day-to-day whilst actively working on longer-term development of the site
