One of the UK's best Power Electronics companies are seeking a Sustaining Engineer to join their team in Essex.
The Sustaining Engineer, Essex will report into the Engineering Manager. This person must communicate verbally and in writing with representatives of Manufacturing located in China and Vietnam (English required but Mandarin is an advantage). You will track electrical and mechanical issues affecting AC-DC switch-mode power supplies through investigation to root cause and closing out and Identify, plan, and carrying out bench measurements and qualification tests.
The Sustaining Engineer, Essex will come from an Electronics and/ or Power industry background, have a degree in Electronic Engineering/Power Electronics and ideally have familiarity with power supply operating theory and component technology.
