Are you looking for an opportunity where you can help young people engage in education? Are you looking for a challenging role which involves managing challenging behaviours on a daily basis? We are currently attempting to identify staffing options for a secondary Pupil Referral Unit based in Bury. The provision is seeking to employ a Graduate with a Degree associated to Youth and Community studies to work in their school from January. The role of the Youth and Community Graduate at this Bury PRU will be to work as an Outreach Teaching assistant. This role will allow the successful Graduate to build positive relationships with young people on a 1:1 and small group basis. They will also be responsible for handling difficult scenarios in a way which enables the young people to progress and remain engaged in the respective lesson/session.
The ideal Teaching assistant for this Bury provision will hold a Degree relating to Youth and Community work. Having a background of putting your Degree into practice is also essential for this provision.
