Summary:

Do you have experience of leading and motivating a team? Have you been instrumental in building a new Energy Services function? We are looking for an Energy Services Solutions Manager to work for an independent B2B retail energy supplier. You will have a deep understanding of UK energy markets as well as good insight into customer behaviours. Leading a team of analysts in the delivery of energy solutions, you will be key in the evaluation of concepts and ideas, and to develop and deliver new products and ways of working which will increase margins, strengthen retention and make a significant contribution to EBITDA. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop ES solutions function to improve capability and create new revenue streams.
  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of ES analysts.
  • Develop analytical capability to evaluate opportunities, develop solutions and inform the wider business on strategy and investment decisions.
  • Oversee the development and interrogation of commercial and financial models.
  • Establish a robust framework, including governance, for evaluation, design, authorisation and implementation of ES initiatives in conjunction with key stakeholders.
  • Work with external partners where the business has limited capability in a specific area.
  • Present and articulate recommendations to Senior Management demonstrating business benefits and associated risks.
  • Put in place clear delivery plans to enable the implementation of new initiatives.
  • Support the operational delivery of ES initiatives promoting exemplary customer service.

Key skills and experience

  • Experience of analysing business cases and contributing to financial modelling.
  • Ability to confidently articulate and communicate complex issues at a senior level.
  • Experience of, building relationships and working with external partners.
  • Ability to work with internal stakeholders to deliver results on time & on budget.
  • Capable of determining priorities from conflicting work demands.
  • Strong analytical and numerate skills including advanced excel. VBA and SQL are desirable.
