HR Business Partner

Due to exciting new changes in the HR Team, we are looking for a HR Business Partner to work with one our clients at their Head Office in Basingstoke on a permanent basis.

Partnering with Senior Leadership Teams, you'll act as both influencer and enabler, providing a blend of strategic, tactical and operationally focused expert advice on a broad range of HR matters such as talent, performance, leadership and other aspects of the employee life cycle.

Key accountabilities will include;

?? Acting as a true business partner, driving commercially led HR decisions to enable the business to proactively deliver.

?? Supporting the Head of HR Operations and HR Directors in implementing the HR strategy and key change initiatives.

?? Supporting cyclical people processes including compensation, performance reviews, talent management and succession planning.

?? Working with Leadership Teams to anticipate resource requirements, and partner with the recruitment team to deliver effective and timely recruitment solutions.

?? Analysing training needs in conjunction with key stakeholders, working closely with the Centre for Learning to source and organise relevant internal and external training as required.

?? Coaching and mentoring business managers to inspire a best practice approach in all aspects of people management.

?? Taking responsibility for development and implementation of relevant HR initiatives within the defined teams.

?? Supporting and encouraging a culture of employee engagement in line with the HR strategy.

?? Actively supporting and advising Managers on market trends, up to date employment legislation and good employment practice for the successful management of day to day HR.

?? Ensuring employee relations matters are dealt with robustly and pragmatically.

?? Supporting the identification of opportunities to remove organisational bottlenecks and increase the efficiency of both business and HR processes.

?? Supporting the development and delivery of internal communication for recognising achievements, promotions, qualifications, recruitment etc.

?? Actively participating in HR meetings & projects.

?? Producing reports and statistics as required.

Qualifications and Experience

What we are looking for;

?? CIPD level 7 with broad all-round HR Experience in unionised and non-unionised environments.

?? Proven experience working in a HR business partnering capacity, with demonstrable ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders, built on mutual respect and trust.

?? Ability to anticipate and diagnose problems, analyse options and make decisions quickly using qualified data to support commercial decision making.

?? Strong communication and influencing skills.

?? Experience in dealing with all aspects of HR practice including change management, recruitment and selection, talent management, employee relations, training and development, compensation and benefits.

?? Strong coaching and mentoring skills, and an approach that builds capability in managers rather than dependency.

?? Proactive, with demonstrable experience of continuous improvement.

?? Organised with the ability to manage and prioritise a challenging and busy workload.

?? Understanding of relevant employment legislation for regions of responsibility.

?? Ability to maintain confidentiality at the highest level and be assertive, yet professional in dealing with requests.

?? Numerate with proven sound commercial judgement.

?? Excellent IT Skills.
