A fantastic opportunity has become available to join our Argos Financial Services team as a Product Supplier Manager in Milton Keynes.

The Role

As Product Supplier Manager, you will sit within the Product and Commercial Management team and will help to manage 3rd party product providers, ensuring they meet our Supplier Management Principles Framework, you will work with the Product and Trading Managers to meet the sales and income targets for Argos Financial Services.

As Product Supplier Manager, you will;

Ensure effective performance and relationship management of 3rd party product providers through regular reviews.
Work closely with Sainsbury's Bank Supplier Management team to ensure all 3rd party product providers' monthly scorecards are completed and approved within agreed timescales.
Ensure all periodic assurance audits are completed on time and within budget.
Address areas for ongoing performance improvement and risk controls with the suppliers.
Work collaboratively and autonomously across various strategic projects and initiatives to deliver the sales and income targets associated with 3rd party provider products.
Build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on the commercial agenda.
Approach every aspect of the role with the customer being put first, adopting and promoting a culture that nurtures a mindset for good customer outcomes.
Put yourself regularly into the "front line" across stores and contact centres to hear what our customers are saying and how they interact with our business.

As Product Supplier Manager, you will have;

Proven experience with product & commercial management.
Financial Services experience including an FCA-regulated product environment.
Experience of managing relationships with large suppliers.
The ability to challenge, persuade, and influence senior business stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills to enable you to spot trends and define clear actions from them.
The ability to think broadly, find links and relationships across complex business problems and produce innovative and pragmatic solutions to manage and deliver change.
Excellent planning and organisational skills, with an ability to balance a large range of priorities with drive and motivation.
Experience working within a high-pressure role, demonstrating resilience and tenacity.
A customer-focussed outlook to ensure we create the right outcomes.
