About the roles

Are you interested in working for a winning team who are dedicated to ensuring that everyone can play and enjoy sport?

They have exciting Bank / Casual opportunities available to work with their Sports, Physical Activity and Wellbeing team as Sports and Wellbeing Assistants. In this newly created role, you will support the daily sports operation, and assist all their valued external facility users during evenings, weekends and school holidays.

Our client deliver sport, physical activity and P.E. as part of our students’ curriculum, and learning and development within the Royal School Manchester and Royal College Manchester. They also provide sports and physical activity opportunities for their residents, and during evenings, weekends and school holidays, they deliver and host sports, physical activity and wellbeing services for community users.

Their facilities include a brand new 3G football pitch, swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, accessible fitness suite, indoor sports hall, and climbing wall.

About the hours

They have flexible opportunities for evening, weekend and vacation work to support operations and to work alongside their specialist sports and wellbeing team. The hours available will be flexible between 4pm – 10pm midweek, 8am – 10pm at weekends and during school holidays.

Requirements

• Good standard of general education including GCSE A – C in English and Maths (or level 2 equivalent)
• Ability to work as part of a team, to enable cohesive and effective team working
• Good time keeping
• Reliable
• The ability to meet the physical demands of the post which requires substantial walking, standing, lifting, bending, working on the floor, twisting and pushing any wheelchairs and other equipment on the premises
