Assistant Project Manager (Construction) - London

We have an exciting opportunity for an up and coming Assistant Project Manager to join a top UK Project Management Consultancy. The client are actively recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager to join them to base out of their London office, focussing on Commercial, Residential and Hotels construction project work in London.

Assistant Project Manager Responsibilities will include:

- Take overall responsibility for the delivery of identified Projects and Programmes ensuring rigorous quality assurance management systems are operated in line with company procedures.
- Effectively manage workload planning and be proactive in taking appropriate action to balance resources with workload requirements.
- Manage the design teams for the projects, ensuring resource management and project forecasting (both financial and time) are effectively managed.

Experience / Personal Specification:

- Degree qualified in an Engineering, Surveying or Construction Project Management related discipline.
- Demonstrable Project Management experience in construction / refurbishment project work
- Experience of working on construction or refurbishment projects in the private sector
- Working knowledge of finance and ability to monitor and manage costs throughout the project lifecycle
- Be proficient in a wide range of IT skills including Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Project).
- Self-motivated with positive can do attitude.
- Highly organised and excellent communicator.
- Be able to demonstrate successful leadership skills.
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with Clients and deliver quality services to maximise opportunities for repeat business.
