This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Civil Design Engineer to join a successful, well-established Civil and Structural Design Consultancy in Southampton on a permanent basis. Working on an interesting variety of civil infrastructure ventures across Residential and Commercial sectors you will work on projects from inception through to completion stage. In order to be considered for this Civil Design Engineer role you will;

* Have gained a Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
* A minimum of 3-4 years (or more) Civil Infrastructure design experience ideally from within a consultancy background
* You will have a working knowledge of AutoCAD
* Any previous experience using Windes, Microdrainage, PDS etc. would be beneficial
* Previous experience working on residential, commercial and/or industrial builds
* Ability to work as part of a close knit design team
* Strong communication skills

Working as a Civil Engineer you will;

* Produce infrastructure designs; with a particular focus on highways/roads and drainage
* Produce reports and specifications
* Attend client liaison meetings
* Input suggestions into the design process
* Work on projects from inception through to completion stage
* Assist with mentoring Technicians
