Accounts Assistant – Permanent - Telford

We are recruiting with a small but successful company in Telford for a new all-round, Accounts Assistant / Credit Controller to join them on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close knit team, within a supportive environment where you’ll be playing a key part in the running of a successful business.

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Credit Control - Managing customers’ queries regarding invoice details
  • Calling clients requesting payments
  • Reconciliations and allocations
  • Monthly credit control reports
  • Ad hoc invoicing and billing
  • Building 1st class and lasting relationships with a large ledger of clients
  • Sales Ledger
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Payments / Invoices

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you MUST have a proven background in accounts-based roles, ideally with Credit Control, Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger, but also be happy getting involved in other areas of administration and general office support.

You will have good communication skills, work accurately, be IT literate, be well organised and a flexible approach to help in a small office team.

The Telford site is not commutable on Public Transport from most parts of Southern Telford, so your own transport is required from Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Newport, Shifnal, Bridgnorth, Ironbridge, Perton, Walsall, Market Drayton etc
