A vacancy has arisen in the Estates team for an experienced administrator. Duties include providing a well organised and professional administrative function for the Estates team, co-ordinating the Estates helpdesk and the efficient running of a very busy Estates office. The administrator is often the first point of contact for issues/queries arising via telephone, radio, email or in person and should be able to resolve these independently or recommend alternative sources of assistance if necessary. The successful candidate will be expected to take the initiative in recognising problems or areas for improvement and proposing possible solutions or escalating matters to the responsible person.  

The role will require a proactive and flexible approach to the delivery of the Help Desk and reception service and management of Estates and Facilities contractors and works. The role will work with minimal supervision and is expected to use judgement and initiative to make appropriate decisions. The role will require high levels of customer service to ensure customers have a positive experience while making requests and ensure their expectations are set and maintained. The successful candidate should hold a minimum Level 3 Customer Service or Business Administration qualification.
