Salary: £16,574 - £17,649

Contract Type: Permanent, full time, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

We are recruiting for English & Maths Mentors to join the team here at the college. The postholder will provide support to staff and learners in order that all learners are able to make progress in English and maths towards a grade C/grade 4 at GCSE. Amongst other tasks, you will be required to deliver sessions to small groups of learners to bridge learning gaps and support in preparation for assessments and examinations, and build effective working relationships with learners in order to maximise their full participation at college.

The successful candidate will have English and maths at GCSE grade C or above (4-9), and ideally maths & English to level 3 and a relevant Degree. You will have a complete employment history including an explanation of gaps, accurate spelling and grammar skills and articulate communication skills.
