Membership Manager

A sales role, to grow the membership base in the East Surrey area (Epsom, Reigate and Banstead, Tandridge and Mole Valley) by recruiting and retaining members, assisting them to grow and develop their business, by making good connections and identifying the right support for them from within their services and membership.

Your main base will be in their Woking office, however you also need to frequently be out and about in the East Surrey area. Therefore this role would suit someone located either in East Surrey or the Woking area.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, engage and follow up on potential new members through a managed pipeline
- Welcome each new member and set up action plan for follow through
- Ensure all members are communicated with at set times and monitor delivery of any agreed actions
- Report on a monthly basis against agreed targets
- Maintain accuracy of member database and build detailed information on each member company within the database
- Achieve delivery of personal and team targets for revenue from membership and any other services offered by the Chamber and identify new revenue streams
- Attend and support events in order to touch base with members and receive on going feedback
- Attend external events in order to build a targeted pipeline
- Co-ordinate and carry out activities to ensure maximum retention of members and report on these activities
- Work with events & marketing manager to build a database of members prepared to respond to press and British Chambers requests
- Deliver all other requests as required by the CEO
