We are working with a successful organisation based in Gloucester who are looking to recruit a Graduate Design Engineer / AutoCAD Technician to join them paying a negotiable salary depending on experience.

Our client design, manufacture and install bespoke stainless steel units for the hospitality trade and have a customer base covering the whole of the UK and Europe.
The Graduate Design Engineer / AutoCAD Technician will be responsible for:
??Creating 3D drawings from 2D floor layouts
??Writing work instructions for shop floor
??Liaising with customers and engineers over technical queries
??Ordering parts and spares
The successful candidate will enjoy working in a hands on capacity and will enjoy working in a role that gives you autonomy and scope for future progression. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to further their career within a design role.
Required skills and experience:
??Good knowledge of 2D & 3D AutoCAD (Inventor would be ideal)
??Minimum of HNC in Mechanical Engineering / Design related subject
??Good mechanical background
??Knowledge of working with thin sheet metal materials / stainless steel would be preferred
??Understanding of metal machinery processes and capabilities would be an advantage
??Enjoy working within a close knit team and be prepared to get involved
??Willingness to learn and develop own skills and share ideas
