Parts Advisor / Service Advisor (HGV, HGV Trailers Automotive, Plant)
GBR Recruitment Ltd are recruiting on behalf of a well established HGV trailer manufacturing / engineering business for an office based Parts Advisor / Service Advisor to further strengthen and support our clients ever growing commercial activities.
In this key role, you will be providing administrative support to the Heavy Goods Vehicle Product Sales department, Parts department and the Customer Service department ensuring a high quality service across all these areas of the business.
You will be the key link between all 3 departments, ensuring everything runs smoothly internally and externally, therefore experience within a similar role is required.
You will have regular contact with customers, so excellent communication skills over the telephone & face to face, are essential.
The position calls for a candidate who is looking to forge a career within a progressive company and has a positive, motivated and energetic attitude.
Previous experience of a sales support role or service support role is essential
We are looking for:
* Previous office based work experience in a Parts, Service Advisor or Commercial Support / Service Support role ideally within HGV, Automotive, Plant & Construction Machinery, MHE or other similar manufacturing / engineering industries
* Previous experience gained from the parts / service industry supporting a sales & customer service team
* Good level of education
* High level of IT skills - Ability to learn new systems quickly, strong in Excel & Word
* Excellent communication skills at all levels, over the telephone, email & face to face
* Ability to adapt and work in many different areas of our business
* Positive and friendly approach with professional communication skills
* Eagerness to get involved and assist
* Driven individual
* Forward thinking

This position could suit someone in one of the following roles: Business Support Administrator, Business Support Coordinator, Sales & Customer Service Administrator, Office Manager, Office Supervisor, Parts Manager, Parts Advisor, Parts & Warranty Advisor, Parts Administrator, Parts Coordinator or similar roles with similar duties as listed above
