Milker required in Devon Ref 2264

The Farm:

This modern, well-equipped farm is looking for 5 milkers to join the team. The herd are milked twice daily in the morning and late afternoon.

The Role:

The role will involve milking and herd health issues. The herd is cubicle housed in winter, grass in the summer. Rotary parlour, grass-based system

The Applicant:

We are looking for a competent milker with the ability to work with the herdsperson in assisting with the milking and management of the cows. The role will also include some tractor duties as required.

Mobile accommodation on the farm

Additional Info:

This is a contract position, where the successful person will operate as an agency worker with Farm Solutions. This means that the person will not have sub-contractor responsibilities and all statutory tax deductions and payments will be made by Farm Solutions on their behalf. Hourly pay operates, which includes pay for overtime hours worked.
