Assessor / Lecturer - Carpentry - Full Time - Hertford Regional College - Broxbourne Campus - Salary GBP30,338.32 - GBP34,238.65 per annum depending on qualifications and experience

Hertford Regional College are looking for an Assessor/Lecturer to work within the Central Apprenticeship Team. The main purpose of this role will be to support the successful delivery and attainment, via effective teaching, learning and assessment practices, of timely outcomes for learners on Apprenticeship programmes within Carpentry.

In this combined role, successful candidates will be required to provide practical and theoretical delivery of teaching in Level 2 and Level 3 programmes, and have the ability to provide support to the apprentices throughout their apprenticeship journey.

All applicants must have proven experience of working within an FE learning environment, as well as occupational industry experience. A good knowledge of Apprenticeship Frameworks / Standards and candidates is an essential criteria. All applicants must have a full teaching qualification, be qualified to assess in the workplace and possess a minimum level 3 qualification within Carpentry.

Ideal candidates will be innovative, dynamic and have a wealth of experience to diversify our team. They will also enjoy working as part of a busy team, be highly organised and have the ability to use their own initiative to manage their caseloads.

Successful applicants will be able to participate in the planning and development of Apprenticeship programmes.

Salary: Salary GBP30,338.32 - GBP34,238.65 per annum depending on qualifications and experience

Hours: 36 hours per week

Annual Leave: 34 days per annum plus Bank Holidays
