Building Surveyor
Location- Wolverhampton
Salary- GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 + Benefits
Job Description
My client has been specialising in property restoration matters for nearly 15 years, and as part of their expansion across the Midlands they are now recruiting for a hands-on Building Surveyor with previous experience in contractor work to conduct repair and maintenance work in both domestic and commercial environments. The ideal individual is someone who has prior knowledge of general building maintenance work who has moved into the Surveying industry to enhance their all-round skills of property developments. The role will also include liaising with the head office in Wolverhampton to conduct work across the Midlands.
The role of Building Surveyor
* Liaising with insurance companies to complete claim work
* Undertaking dilapidations and restoration work
* Producing schedules of work and sticking to project deadlines
* Conducting structural development work
Experience
* At least 5 years' experience in general building or contractor work
* Decent knowledge of building subsidence
* RICS accredited degree ideal but not essential
* Full Driving Licence
