COMPANY DESCRIPTION, PROFILE AND SCOPE OF ROLE:

Supporting the Quality Manager in all aspects of Quality Assurance & Quality Control you will be required to direct and support a team of Quality Technicians to deliver optimum performance whilst adhering to all Company Standards of Conduct, Policies and Procedures. You will be involved in implementing quality systems and process capability metrics via 8D Problem Solving & FMEA techniques using Mini-tab Software are desirable.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Direct and support a team of Quality Technicians to deliver optimum performance

* Provide support to the Quality Manager as required

* Lead Quality Testing for special projects and perform Supplemental Testing completion

* Database Management

* Test, when necessary, and Approve Incoming Raw Materials (CoA against Spec)

* Review Online SPC with QC Techs/Operators/Management.

* Assist Quality Manager in investigations into Customer Complaints.

* Provide QC Lab support to Production/R&D during trials/PPAP's etc.

* Manage QA Hold area

* Quality Induction for all new employees (in the absence of Quality Manager)

* Assist HPT Projects

* Assist Change Management Leader in implementation of quality lean projects

* Lead Quality 5S efforts

* Perform Internal Audits (System/Parts and process/Dock).

* Manage Quality Department SOP Documents

* Update the Quality Management System using SharePoint as and when required

* Train employees in SOPs

* Manage inventory of QC Lab consumables

* Approve of PDCA's from QC Technicians

* Assist in customer audits and regulatory body requests.

* Represent Quality in Production Meetings, (in the absence of Quality Manager)

* Update MSA Testing

* Analysis of data using statistical software such as mini tab

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

* Educated to at least CQI Level 3 or equivalent

* Demonstrable experience in a similar role

* Competent in modern quality practices

* Good working knowledge of the ISO9001 Quality Standard with the

* Ability to communicate at all levels using both descriptive statistics and technical terminology. Statistical Analysis and Mini-tab experience would be advantageous, but not essential.

* Successful completion of an internal auditor course would be advantageous, but not essential

* You will be a strong team player who is creative, self-motivated and flexible while demonstrating good communication and interpersonal skills
