We are supporting our client with their search for an experienced Head of Marketing. The HoM will play a key part in driving the achievement of the UK & Ireland business goals by leading the midterm and long term marketing and business development strategy.

The Head of Marketing will lead the marketing detail and be responsibile for business growth in net sales and ongoing improvement of global gross profit. As the HoM you will;

* Identify the relevant trend in the markets and ensure these are considered in the business strategy

* Responsible to lead the process of identifying and implementing the Go-to-Market strategy including Value propositions and business model

* Lead the development and implementation of the UK&I market positioning, marketing mix and operational marketing plan for assigned portfolios.

* Adapt the regional positioning and marketing mix to local needs;

1. Collect and consolidate market & competitve data

2. Define and analyse customer segmentation

3. Manage the entire product lifecycle: drive local product launch, ensure fast ramp-up and drive local phase out activities

4. Adapt global & regional portfolio positioning to local needs

5. Define competitive strategies

6. Support pricing definition

7. Provide feedback to regional marketing regarding required product changes

8. Define and implement distribution channel, communication and promotion activities

* Drive the annual marketing and budget planning for assigned portfolio

* Adapt the regional operational marketing plan of action to local needs and drive local implementation;

1. Develop local advertisement and media plan

2. Drive the development of case studies and white papers

3. Manage local market events e.g. congresses, exhibition, road-shows, webinars

4. Organize equipment for for local / regional events

5. Adjustment of global / regional marketing collaterals to local requirements

6. Local implementation of marketing campaigns

7. Develop sales promotions to win new prospects and keep current customers with e. loyalty and retention programs

8. Decide on local demo pool

* Manage local references site lists and key opinion leaders

* Drive customer group specific marketing and product support, Segment setup, messaging, materials and tools.

Departmental Management;

* Define, implement and meet departmental goals in accordance with strategic and operational plan

* Effective leadership of personnel to include performance management, salary recommendations, objective setting and development, in order to achieve set goals and objectives

* Assess, hire, hold and develop critical know-how

* Skill management and development of employees and keep employees motivated and satisfied

It is essential you have strategic marketing experience in the medical sector, your location within the UK is flexible the position can be home-based
