The Opportunity;
With an increasing multi-million-pound turnover and a full order book beyond 2020, in excess of 3000 customers, as well as phenomenal increasing demand for product, this really is an extremely exciting time to join a global manufacturer of bespoke and extremely diverse electro mechanical products supplied to very buoyant market sectors.
Responsibilities will include;
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be joining a fast paced, high performance mindset and be responsible for implementing changes and optimizing existing processes within manufacturing.
Your role will also be to support manufacturing in the resolution of issues and pivotal in ensuring projects are effectively delivered to production quality and cost targets and will require you to interface with the functions, suppliers and teams involved in all stages of manufacture.
You may have the following Skills/Experience
-Degree or HND/C Qualified in Manufacturing or Engineering disciplines.
-Manufacturing or Production Process Improvements.
-Knowledge, understanding or Interest in precision or niche Technology and product reliability
-Analytical, detailed and passionate about problem solving.
-Attention to detail and commitment to procedures and personal training and development.
-Self-motivated, able to initiate improvements without the need for guidance.
-Ideally you will also have experience of the following;
-Root Cause Problem Solving, Analysis, Solution Engineering
-Planning
-New Product Introduction/Test
-ERP/MRP/BOM/ROUTING
-PDCA / DMAIC
-LEAN implementation and change control
-6 Sigma
-Kaizen
-5s methodology
-Design and Conceptual awareness
-Component manufacture and assembly experience
-Commercial awareness
-Experience of rework/ re-design
-Process improvements
