As the Release and Environments Manager, you will be responsible for owning and managing the environment estates ensuring all test systems are supported and available for AFS.
What you'll be doing
Working with the projects within AFS to agree environment requirements (Demand Planning)
Managing the delivery of testing service along with Testing manager in support of the AFS strategy agenda.
Ensuring the quality of testing, resources, plans and methodologies are in place to support successful and timely implementation of systems projects
Managing any third-party contracts to the required service level and ensuring continuous improvements in efficiencies
Ensuring environments and test data are fit for purpose and meet project requirements
Planning, managing and controlling the environments project schedule
Compilation of project plans and coordination of sanity testing and the subsequent acceptance of the environment to the project.
Monitoring and reporting of build progress
Owning and managing end to end environment build and test data issues and conflicts
Recommending opportunities for the improvement of current and/or planned projects to add to the value of the business via internal teams and 3rd party suppliers
Ensuring SIT, Integration and load performance capabilities are in place for project where required
You
Ideally hold a technical Degree
Experience of the retail technical environment
Experience managing third parties and cross functional teams
Strong planning and influential skills
Ability to make decisions quickly
