Content Writer, Permanent, Norwich, GBP20,000 - GBP25,000 DOE
R13 recruitment are searching for an experienced Content Writer, with a strong understanding of SEO, to join a leading Norwich based financial organisation. Working closely with the SEO Manager, this role will focus on producing insightful and accurate online content based around the financial service sector, with the goal being to reach, impact and grow the companies target audience.
This is the perfect role for a passionate professional, who takes great pride in their work, and is happy to work to their own initiative, as well as, collaboratively within a specialist team.
Your duties will include:
* Creating and distributing online content, ensuring this is suitable for the target audience and aligns with company objectives.
* Creating copy across new articles, infographics, reviews, tips, emails and guides.
* Posting online content using the company content management system.
* Posting engaging content on company social media channels.
* Analysing social media metrics, enabling you to produce targeted content and identify areas for improvement.
* Liaising with other teams in order to identifying the best opportunities to re-use or collaborate on new content projects.
* Working with the press team to respond to breaking news stories within the industry.
* Writing surveys in order to collect meaningful data to be used to create market insights.
* Using various software in order to analyst the impact on the content produced on the business and whether this reaches the target audience.
You will have/be:
* Proven experience content writing within the financial services industry.
* At least 2 years SEO writing experience.
* Strong understanding of SEO, ideally from the consumer financial services market place.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to quickly write and publish relevant news articles.
* Experienced with using SEMrush and Google Analytics to analyse data.
* An understanding of how to use Mail Chimp and Dotmailer.
* Familiarity with using content management systems (experience with Umbraco would be desirable).
* Confident in working to your own initiative.
* Comfortable working to tight deadlines.
* Impeccable attention to detail.
This is a full time, permanent position working 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday. You will be working from office based in Norwich City Centre. This role offers a salary of GBP20,000 - GBP25,000 DOE and a comprehensive benefits packages that includes; 25 days holidays + bank holidays, an enhanced pension scheme, life insurance policy and free car parking on site.
