Technical Claims Analyst - Ipswich - GBP25,000 - GBP33,000
We are currently recruiting for a Claims Analyst to work for a national Insurer. Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit a candidate to support a busy and challenging Claims department on a permanent basis.
Ideal candidates will have a background in Reinsurance and have experience of calculating submission of insurance recovery, collecting notes and advices on facultative and excess of loss accounts, calculations and submission of proportional accounts, providing financial information and administering documentation for the commutation of reinsurer participation and accruals.
You will be responsible for:
* Processing claims and contracts accurately
* Closing claims in accordance with agreed rules
* Provide process and claims support to other business units
You will have:
* Reinsurance experience
* Good IT skills particularly in Excel
* Analytical and problem solving skills
* Ability to work under own initiative
* Excellent communication skills to deal with Claimants appropriately
