Location: Leeds
Salary: GBP27,500 to GBP40,000 Per Annum
Our client is currently looking for a candidate with a good background in residential property to run their very busy and expanding block management portfolio.
The successful candidate will:

Sole responsibility for the block management portfolio
*
Day to Day Management of Property Portfolio, proactively develop service levels across the portfolio to exceed client expectations, advising client of management setup
*
Obtaining quotes and organising works
*
Overseeing contractors and completed works
*
Preparing and issuing service charge budgets
*
Completing Section 20 Notices
*
Assisting with Insurance Claims
*
Be able to read and understand leases from many perspectives and foresee likely issues arising from individual leases.
*
Keep up to date with legislation and demonstrate an awareness of approaching changes and major case law. Pre-empt legislative issues which may affect the properties under your control
*
Respond to all correspondence within a suitable time period
*
Regularly visit the properties in your portfolio and to carry out a thorough site inspection on each visit
*
Follow up all visits with a site inspection report
*
While carrying out site inspections, identify any potential insurance risks across your portfolio
*
Personal Work Planning and Time Management
*
Introduce innovative ways to improve what we do and to anticipate and alleviate potential problems. Put measures in place to prevent problems recurring and ensure speedy progress and problem resolution
*
Ensure that accurate and timely records are kept i.e. work orders, visit reports, holiday notes etc.
*
Liaising with Leaseholders and Tenants
*
Supervising Fire Assessment and asbestos reports - Implementing recommendations
*
Responsibility for building the portfolio and taking on additional blocks and units
