Our client a leading engineering consultancy, are recruiting an experienced Rail Surveyor to join an already substantial survey team. The type of projects that will be undertaken are PWAY topographical surveys, control network establishment, tunnel surveys, clearance profile surveys, various gauging surveys and all associated office processing.
Working out of their offices in Doncaster, the projects do require the company to work the length and breadth of the country, so a willingness to travel will be required. Normal working hours will be Monday to Friday, although due to the nature of the business weekend work may be required with overtime being paid over and above salary.
Candidates should have 2 to 3 years rail surveying experience, a good knowledge of the latest survey technology including; Robotic Total Stations and GPS receivers (Leica), railway gauging equipment, AutoCAD and LSS knowledge (Preferred, but not essential)
