Recruit on a fixed term contract (six months) of a SharePoint Consultant / Trainer.
About our Client
The client is very established and cover multiple business areas, these range from utilities, groundworks and earthmoving, highways and mainstream civils, as well as others
They have grown year on year and are looking for someone who can help to deliver the growing number of large specialist projects in the South
About the Role
Having migrated many of the departments at our client from Citrix to Office365 / SharePoint in March 2019, the priorities of the IT Support Team were diverted by the increase threat levels to ensuring Cyber Security measures were sufficient. Training on SharePoint has been sporadic, and users now require a much deeper dive into the functionality that it can offer. There is a requirement also for colleagues to learn how to do things and the compliance dept are creating a booklet outlining file / folder structure etc.
It is proposed that in order to 'relaunch' SharePoint and regain colleague's confidence in the system, a SharePoint Consultant/Trainer is brought into the company for a period of six months. The person will concentrate their efforts entirely on ensuring the system is fit for purpose, migrating those users still on Citrix, developing appropriate training (small group and 1:1) and where possible, helping to reformat paper processes and digitalise them.
About the Candidate
Ability to communicate effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to travel internationally
Knowledge of the Microsoft O365 platform and services, including but not limited to:
SharePoint Online
OneDrive for business
Teams
Also Planner,Flow, Powerapps, Power BI knowledge is a plus
Any knowledge of Azure AD, Hybrid AD, Azure B2B, Azure automation is a bonus
Understanding of MS licensing is a plus
Deep understanding of SharePoint technologies including Office 365 SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server 2007, 2010 and SharePoint Server 2013
Understanding of existing and emerging cloud-based Microsoft technologies.
Microsoft Certification in SharePoint Online, OnPremise and/or associated technologies. -Enabling services for office 365, MCSE productivity - not essential but desirable
Experience of SharePoint Online migration, administration and support
Strong understanding of the OOB features in SharePoint
Ability to resolve complex SharePoint related issues in a timely manner
Strong knowledge of SharePoint development and delivery
Good knowledge of SharePoint permissions management
PowerShell Experience, Patterns and Practices
